This 1955 pickup has been completely disassembled and professionally built from the ground up. It blends the birth of a 1955 3100 Step-side pick-up, an early 1970 Camaro front suspension, an “old school” SBC 350 engine, and a C7 Corvette inspired interior.
It has amenities expected in today’s world including A/C, P/W, P/S, P/B, door poppers, heated C7 Corvette power seats, XM Satellite Radio, 9 inch GPS/Navigation display screen, Dakota Digital dash cluster, and Electronic Windshield Wipers.

Chassis
1970’s Camaro front suspension
The entire body was lifted off the frame and disassembled along with the chassis. All parts and frame were media blasted.
The frame was painted with black frame undercoating.

Chevy Small Block 350 Engine.
Rochester R4-4MV, Quadra jet with Electronic Choke AC Delco Electronic Ignition, with Vacuum advance Mechanical Fuel Pump
Dual Flow Aluminum Radiator.
New hoses have GM stamped part numbers. Electronic Fan
Fuel System
New 18 gallon gas tank relocated under the bed. New gas lines.
Drivetrain
Turbo Hydromatic TH200-4R (Overdrive), Rebuilt 07/2023
C7 Corvette Shifter linkage.
The differential is a 10 bolt POSI BOP (Buick, Olds, Pontiac) 8.2 inch diameter, 2:56 gears.
Brakes
New Camaro disk brakes on front and drum brakes on rear. All new brake lines.
Tires
4 new Firestone FireHawk Indy 500 XL’s 255/35R-20.
Suspension
New Delco shocks on front.
Front has early 1970’s Camaro coil springs/shocks and sway bar with new rubber. Rear suspension is leaf spring.
Gabriel Air Hijacker shocks are installed on rear.
Electrical
AC Delco Starter and Electric Ignition were rebuilt.
120 AMP Alternator
Battery Jumper studs were added under the right side side-step.
Fabrication
Under bed 18 gallon polished stainless steel gas tank.
“Gas Cap Free” (no gas cap) filler neck.
Filler door fabricated into left rear fender.
New 1955 pick-up truck LED taillights fabricated into the rear fenders. Hidden tailgate hinges and latches.
Tailgate louvers.
Bed Tubs were added.
Front bumper brackets were shortened to bring the front chrome bumper in closer to the body.
Custom exhaust system.
Battery has been moved to a compartment visible when opening the right door.
Dash was cut out from the steering wheel, past the glovebox, and a single metal sheet was welded in.
1963 Corvette upper radiator support brackets were fabricated to fit and used.
Door handles and locks were shaved.
1970-1972 truck emergency brake assembly was mounted under the left side of the dash.
Horns were moved to inside of front fenders.
All notorious rusted areas were cut out and replaced, not repaired. Listed but not limited to: lower firewall to frame, floor pans, outside and inside bottom doors, lower rear cab corners, roof, and headlight buckets.

SPAL SHAVED-40 Door Poppers open from both interior electronic Corvette C7 door button and external FOB. Rebuilt Steering Colum.
Billet Specialties Steering Wheel.
C7 Corvette automatic shifter with black boot and red stitching.
C7 Corvette Emergency Door Opener pull cables and concealed handles.
C7 Corvette door panels modified to fit, including electronic inside door popper openers.

Alpine x009 AM/FM/XM Universal Radio, with Focal Access 165AS speakers and Mosconi amplifier. 9 inch Display Screen, GPS and XM antenna’s hidden under front center cowl.
Sound deadener installed on inside of cab roof, back wall, doors and floor.
Front windshield, rear and side windows are 50/60 era green tint.
Red Alcantara headliner.
Red Vinyl cab back.
Black carpet.
Air Conditioning
Mounted under passenger side dash.
Old Air Products, Fort Worth, Texas.
Unit: CP 700HCE (Heat, Cool, Electronic Control ).
Paint and Assembly
Three to four coats of base were applied.
Two to 3 coats of clear were laid on top of the base.

DuPont Chromabase.
General Motors, 1963 Corvette, Sebring Silver, Metallic, Code 941.
Clear Coat
#72500 Premier clear coat.
Wheels
DIP Model D10 JP’s (20 x 8 1/2“) Powder Coated Wheels.
Wooden Bed
Oak Hardwood and Stainless Steel bed trim.
The underside was sprayed with Raptor black coating.
The upper side was stained using “Wood Song II” black stain from Atlantic Plywood Corporation. ML Campbell’s # C38578 Polyurethane was applied.
