1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe
Original Model 18 V-8 car. Rust free, nuts and bolts restoration, all work professionally done. All body panel’s original to the car. Professionally reupholstered. This vehicle is extremely reliable, instantly fires up, flat head runs like a clock, and the transmission shifts like new.
Motor/Transmission– Motor is a 239 flat head out of a 1946-1948 Ford. All mechanical systems were completely rebuilt on the 32 including but not limited to the motor, transmission, rear end, carburetor, starter and 6-volt generator. Has a new clutch. Trans and rear are original to the car. Stainless steel headers, dual exhaust, and glass packs give this car a tough exhaust note. New gas tank.
Paint/Body– Roll down the rear window and flip up the windshield. 100% rust free. Received a frame off nuts and bolts restoration. Original Henry Ford steel, no patch panels. Body has not been chopped or modified in any way. Paint is a stunning Black Cherry Metallic. New fold up safari type front window, headlight drop bar. Under carriage is spotless and detailed.
Brakes/Suspension– Thinking safety first the entire brake system has been updated to a hydraulic system with dual circuit master cylinder and stainless-steel brake lines. For both safety and drivability, the old 1932 steering system was updated to a modern rack and pinion steering system All suspension rubber and bushings were replaced, new front shocks, new hair pins, slightly lowered front end with a drop axle.
Interior– 50’s style interior design, off white color to compliment the white walls, interior is a black/gray peppered wool material. Beautiful one peace headliner. Seat springs were replaced with custom foam for added comfort, additional hidden storage under the seat as well as easy access to battery and master cylinder. New repop visor frame, rear view mirror, door handles, window crank handles, dome light, shifter, and emergency brake handle were installed. The dash panel and interior window fames were painted the body color and compilates the carpet, chrome and upholstery color perfectly. All electrical, lights, horn, etc. work properly. Trunk was reupholstered to the same style as the cab.
Wheels– Repop BFG Silvertown 6.00-116 front tires and Firestone Champion 8.20-15 in the rear. Tires and wheels are offset sizes for a hot rod style. Old School Kelsey Hayes wires.
