1940 Ford Deluxe Tudor

The 40 has an older rebuilt 59AB flathead from a 46 Ford that runs smooth and quiet. The car has a new walker radiator, newer England Stromberg 97 carb, stock trans and rear end that both leak a bit but function as they should.

I rewired the entire car 3 years ago using a racersrod fuse panel and wiring kit and at the same time I uparaded to 12v and a GM alternator. She also has new roadster supply disc brakes up front, new dual master cylinder and front brake lines, new running board covers, new BF Goodrich bias ply wide whites, and 15” Mercury steel wheels with moon discs. I lowered the car on a dtopped 40 ford I beam with fresh dropped spindles from Nostalgia Sid’s, and a reversed main leaf on front and rear spring pack. The front has tube shocks with Pete and Jakes mounts. The car has an older paint job with a cool patina. It does have some small paint runs, dents, chips and some miscolored respray in between the split rear windows as shown in photos. Two dime sized rust holes in tool tray are the only rust on the car.

Sale includes the deluxe windshield trim, but needs some work on the gasket to fit. I planned to buy a new gasket and reset the windshield as it is still original glass but never got around to it.

Car is proven, it made the trip from Missouri out the Gathering at the Roc 2022, as well as countless miles locally in the last couple of years. Being that it still has a flathead and stock drivetrain, it does use and leak some fluids but everything functions great. This is a great, budget friendly and family friendly hot rod.
