1986 Chevrolet c10 factory short bed

Original 6.2 Diesel truck. engine has 100k on it runs like a champ. These engines run forever.
Smog emission items removed. CUCV intake to let the engine breathe
I have another engine that was rebuilt by local tech school that goes with sale, complete, see in photos
700r4 overdrive rebuilt by Certified Transmission 1500 miles ago
3″ exhaust 2 into 1 with Flowmaster muffler. Nice tone.
Was a Silverado package truck. I have AC parts but currently not reinstalled. Was going to do Vintage Air Surefit
Dual dropout batteries relocated to factory driver side fuel tank location with airbag compressor
converted to single fuel tank, power kill switch and jumper lugs hidden in drivers fuel tank door.

Truck was stripped down to bare metal and all areas addressed correctly with panels.
Maintained as much factory metal as possible.
Rear 2″ bumper tuck
Fiji Blue Pearl and White. Southern poly clear. Custom slimline trim to look factory.
Paint scheme laid out to match earlier 70’s squarebodied chevy trucks
LED sequential taillight kit, H4 headlight kit
All necessary power upgrades that are needed for these trucks is done. Power window units new and headlight relays.

All trim, bumpers, glass, grille parts, body mechanicals new LMC parts
Raptor lined bed up to top rails, nice for a shop truck.

Front suspension brakes etc all new, Bell Tech dropped spindles, CPP tubular upper/lower arms.
Digital air gauge and switch hidden in factory dash
Rear suspension C-Notch, fully boxed. Axle flip with rear shackle raise. Maintains factory leaf stack.

New interior panels. Doors, carpet, seat refoamed and covered, dashpad

Factory rally wheels, jet black painted. 15×6 van wheels up front 15×10 rear with all new cooper tires.

This truck was built as a very nice shop truck. It is pretty refreshing to see and hear a squarebody
that doesn’t have an LS swap. Many people talk trash on the 6.2 but there is a reason the military used
these engines in all the trucks of this era. They are reliable and they run forever.

Was a factory 6.2, dual tank, overdrive 2wd shortbed. Had to be a special order truck.
Original build tag still in glove box.
