This car has been a Hot Rod since the 50’s. The first time I saw it was at the 1979 NSRA Nats South in Winston Salem N.C. The car was blue and Unchopped. I sold my 32 Roadster in 1997 and was looking for a 5 Window. A friend told me about this 5 Window for sale that nobody wanted because the body was in bad shape and had been passed over by many people! I felt lucky to get it! Over the years I had planned to build this car and was driving it as my every day car from 1999 to 2007. I had my best friend build the frame in 2004 preparing to one day make a better driver out of it! My best friend that build the frame died in 2012 of cancer and that made me push to build this car! I had another friend that had a Hot Rod Shop and he also died in 2011. One of the guys that worked for started a shop and my car went him to build a driver! As you can see by the pictures I sent you and my Instagram pictures, we went a little more than a driver.

Tim Stepp, my builder, started on the quarters. These quarters are hand build with basic tools! Hammer and chisel! This guy is unreal with his metal working skills. The car took 5 years off and on working on it! This car was planned to drive all the time and that’s what will happen. I’m holding off putting the interior in it til this winter! I can’t stop driving it now to put it in! My wife and I are headed to the West Coast next May. My plans are to stop by a lot of shops and meet all these great guys I’ve met on Instagram! I’ve got other cars that I drive everyday but I’ve wanted this exact car since I was 7 years old! My Dad loved old cars and he is the reason I love all cars! I’ve got a lot of pictures on Instagram of my hobbies and cars! I could go on and but I’m just like everyone that loves to drive old cars.
