It Was a Day to Remember…

It was the first of July 2021 and I was on the road to meet up with Gil from @speed_design in Missouri.  Gil was coming from Nashville and I was coming from Ohio.  Prior to heading to Des Moines, Iowa for the Goodguys show, we made a stop for the day to meet up with Scott Teems, @scottteems.  Scott had worked it out to take us around to see several car collections and meet up with several great hotrodders in the surrounding area.

One of those stops was to visit with David Conrad and see his car collection.  The photos below are just some of the cars that we were able to see during our visit.   David is known for doing most of the work on his own cars as well as doing the body and paintwork.   In particular, I was drooling over the 1932 Ford 3 Window Coupe and the 1936 Ford custom.   For those that have seen either car in the past, you understand what I am saying.   Or if you have been unable to see the 36 Ford, you may have to opportunity to see it yet this year if you are attending the Gathering at the Roc event in Oklahoma.   You won’t regret taking some time to look it over as it is spectacular!

Thank you once again David for sharing your wonderful cars with us.  We look forward to seeing you again in Oklahoma this year.   Thank you to Scott Teems for introducing Gil and I to many wonderful people that day.  The memories of speaking with great men and seeing their terrific cars will last forever.
