Complete Chassis to Complete Builds
PRECISION – “the quality, condition, or fact of being exact and accurate.”
Precision Hot Rods have been building hotrods and chassis that have “PRECISION” in them since 2011 when they first opened their new shop. Dan Tesar, head fabricator, has been building custom chassis for over 21 years. After seeing many of their complete builds and being onsite at their Macedonia, OH shop, (just outside of Cleveland, OH) I have personally seen that their craftsmanship is second to none. For those that have been lucky enough to have Precision Hot Rods build them a car, they have experienced a car that comes with a terrific fit and finish as well as something they feel comfortable in driving down the road with safety. While speaking with Larry and Danny at Precision Hot Rods, I asked the question “What makes for a cool hotrod to you?” Their reply shows clearly why each of their cars are great! A cool hotrod must have “the right wheels, stance and have a great sound quality.” This “Precision” is on display with each of their rides for they each have a killer stance, sound quality and more.
Don’t just take my word for it, go see for yourself by viewing a few of the finished rides they have completed over the last few years.
What you may not see in the previous video, you can see from our photo collection below. As I made my way around the shop, I was impressed with each of their buildings and the work that was on full display. For a hot rod shop that has so many things going on at once, the cleanliness was a nice sight to see as well
The chassis room was particularly impressive as there were many in stages of completion. I had originally thought that they only specialized in 32 Ford frames. However, I quickly discovered I was wrong. I spotted a 32 and 34 Ford chassis, a 57 Chevy Gasser chassis, a C1 Corvette chassis, a 48 Ford woodie chassis and more ready to be shipped out to clients or ready for the next build in-house. The finish work was outstanding as you would expect from any professional shop.
In addition to multiple chassis ready to go, there were multiple complete builds taking shape throughout the shop (see photos below).
While some people enjoy working on their cars, there are others that prefer the professionals provide ongoing maintenance. The shop is staffed with a full service garage to work on your car and provide any needed maintenance. (See photos below)
