20 Years of Relationships Bring Success to Greening Auto Company!

When you have the chance to interview Jesse Greening and then take a ride in of the top cars in the country, you take it.  It has now been over two months since we caught up with Jesse and his father, Jeff, at this year’s Goodguys Lexington show.  The memories of riding along in the 1971 Ford Maverick, named Street Machine of the Year, are still as fresh and burning in my mind as the day we took the ride.  Jesse had to be thinking I had never been in a cool car like this before. In a way he was right.  I had been in countless amazing cars over the years. However, there was something about riding in this car versus any other I had ridden in before.  The sheer performance it exuded made it different than all the rest.   Not only was the ride outstanding (see our full video on Instagram posted October 20th), the time hanging out and talking with Jesse was even better.

You quickly find out that Jesse is down to earth and someone that you could get lost in a conversation with.  It was great to hear about the story how at just 24 years old, Jesse began Greening Auto Company.  The key to success for Jesse and his team since day one was to “make and keep good relationships.”  That goal has done well for Jesse for the last twenty years as the shop has continued to grow and become one of the top hotrod shops in the country.

One of the first opportunities for Jesse to prove himself was at the age of 24 while building his first car for Paul Atkins out of Alabama. Jesse co-built the car with Paul Atkins out of the Greening Auto Company shop.   The bright yellow 33 Ford Speedstar was built to debut at the Detroit Autorama in 2000.  Talk about jumping on the map and making a splash in the first year of your shop.  The Greening Auto Company 33 brought home the Ridler Award that year!

Jesse believes each car should be “clean and simple”  while trying to “look at what the car was and supposed to be.”   The commitment has always been to ensure each build is “look enhanced and executed well.”  This execution can be seen throughout each of Greening Auto Company builds.  Below is just a sample of the quality that is delivered from their shop located in N. Alabama.

You will find more on these cars by visiting them on Instagram at @greeningautocompany or at their website at https://www.greeningautocompany.com.

Besides building one-off rides that are some of the most recognized in the country, Greening Auto Company has been creating one-off parts and wheels for over 13 years.   They continue to grow and refine their line of parts that you will find on other shop’s builds as well.    You can see more of their available parts by visiting their website at https://www.greeningautocompany.com.

If your organization is looking to grow and develop a product line, you may consider contacting Greening Auto Company for private labeling opportunities.

When the long hours of work are done, the parts are made, and the fresh-built rides delivered to excited customers, Jesse and his dad enjoy traveling and spending time together.  They also take time to enjoy their relationships with each customer while driving the latest projects.   After 20 years, the relationships remain the key component for their success and Jesse is quick to remember what got him to where he is today.
