1941 Willys Americar coupe.

Currently owned by Kevin with Opposing Cylinders, this all-steel 41 Willys was transformed by Lo Man Rods in Tipp City, OH with 4,000 hours of labor over a three year build time.  Nothing was left untouched as the car was built with its race history in mind. In 1964, the coupe was named “Best Engineered” when Elverne Pfeifer raced it out of Kenosha, WI.  A similar Chrysler Wedge motor was used with Hilborn injection backed by a 727 automatic transmission. A full aluminum interior was hand made at Lo Man Rods as well as a number of one-off parts throughout the car. The entire front and rear suspension has been chromed and a complete roll cage was made for extra support.

The Willys has won numerous award across the county as well as being featured in magazines home and abroad.
